The UK is ready to advance with utilizing the entire amount of immobilized Russia's assets to aid the Ukrainian war effort, Leader Sir Keir Starmer has declared.

In a shared declaration, the leaders of the Britain, France, and the Federal Republic of Germany emphasized that this joint measure would heighten pressure on Russia's leader Vladimir Putin and compel Russia to come to the table.

They further noted that the move would be executed in close cooperation with the US.

United Kingdom penalties have immobilized over £25bn of Russian funds since Moscow launched its comprehensive attack against the Ukrainian nation in 2022. Yet, until now, resources sent to Ukraine using Russian holdings had only been sourced from profits and interest earned on them.

Sir Keir told Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky that the UK, France, and Germany were united in their desire to advance efforts toward using the full value of the seized Moscow's national holdings to halt hostilities.

He noted that more measures soon would apply more pressure on Russia.

This statement follows European Union representatives convened in Copenhagen previously to debate employing immobilized Russia's holdings for a €140 billion credit to the Ukrainian nation.

Recently, President Donald Trump urged G7 allies to seize or utilize seized Russia's holdings, according to news outlets.

The worth of seized Russia's holdings in the Europe is calculated to be approximately €211bn.

Moscow executed extensive bombardments across Ukraine on that day, causing blackouts in many areas of Kyiv, Kyiv, and eight other regions.
