🔗 Share this article Soccer Expert Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Singer Murs in Top Flight Predictions The Gunners' 10-game victorious run came to an end by the Black Cats before the international hiatus, but can the English top division leaders recover against local foes Tottenham this weekend? "{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," remarked soccer expert Chris Sutton. "The Spurs manager will attempt to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still find a way to win." The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this season, versus AI, fans and a variety of special visitors. In week 12, he takes on singer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter. Murs' new album, Knees Up, is out on Friday. Football and Parenting Experiences Murs is a skilled soccer player as well as a accomplished artist and has been a star of multiple Soccer Aid games down the years - but he is not planning a serious return as a player. "{I recently played in a charity match the other evening for a friend of mine," he said. "My side was losing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want! "I still love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it even now isn't where I want it to be. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the sport means it's too risky for me in my career to do it seriously again. "Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my daughter or boy chooses to play instead." The singer and his spouse his partner have two children, their daughter and their son, and he is ready to emulate his dad by becoming their coach. "I won't push football on our children but I've already told Amelia that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be coaching their Saturday soccer side," he added. "I observed my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a soccer team for a while too. "My dad coached with us when I was a child, which is probably where I get it from. He managed our side for two or three years and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!" Premier League Predictions Weekend, 22 November Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT The Blues might have to wait a bit longer for their star's return from injury but their offense is already more potent with Joao Pedro and Delap both back fit. I still think this game will be fairly tight, however. The Clarets are disciplined and their only home losses so far have been against Liverpool and Arsenal. This suggests a one-all draw to me, but I am actually going to go with the London side to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row. The expert's forecast: 1-2 Olly's prediction: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3 Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2 Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT The Cherries have lost their past two games - albeit both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which shocked me. In contrast, the Hammers won two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they do look competitive again. West Ham's sole away win this season came at Forest in the summer, when their manager Nuno was previously Forest manager. Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - will it be the Hammers continuing their streak under their manager, or the home side bouncing back? I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Aston Villa was a anomaly. The pundit's forecast: 2-0 Olly's outlook: Bournemouth are performing strongly but West Ham have picked up under Nuno. 2-2 AI's prediction: 1-1 Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT Brentford were seen as one of the favourites for relegation before the season began, but they have surprised a several people under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three in their last four games. A family member advised me to get Bees striker Thiago in my Fantasy Football team a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, I didn't listen. Thiago will probably find the net again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to select him or support the away side at Amex Stadium. They have not had much success on the travel this term, and Brighton are consistently decent at home. Brentford will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's side carry much more of a danger. Sutton's forecast: 2-1 Olly's prediction: It could be a match where you think there is going to be a many scores but it in reality proves to be rather close. 1-1 The computer's outcome: 2-1 Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT This is a massive game for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six matches. They have have lots of quality in their team but it nonetheless feels like they could be dragged into a drop zone fight. As for the Black Cats, well they are the unexpected success of the top flight season so far. Their display in the 2-2 tie with Arsenal last time out was superb. We have not witnessed anyone else rough up the Gunners like that this term, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them. The logical choice would be to support the visitors here, because they are clearly capable of disrupting the hosts up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat the Blues at the close of last month. But I am not going to do that. Instead, I really need to continue going against Sunderland with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their positive results because they evidently enjoy to defy my predictions. Considering Fulham's home record, the sole team they have lost to is Arsenal. Marco Silva's team will be extremely eager for a positive result, so I am going to predict they will secure three points. The expert's prediction: 1-0 The guest's choice: I'm aware the visitors are doing well and also that Fulham are on a poor streak... but they have nonetheless been decent at home this season. 2-0 The algorithm's outlook: 2-0 Anfield, 15:00 GMT This is a hard fixture to predict. Liverpool have suffered seven of their last ten matches in all competitions, but could they be one of the sides who benefit from the {international break|
